Welcome To The Wessex Inn...

     The Wessex Inn is a 29 room motel located in beautiful Cowichan Bay, British Columbia. The building sits across the road from the bay, and Hecate Park at the north end of the village, providing spectacular views from many of our rooms and an incredibly walkable experience without being caught up in the hustle and bustle of the village center.

     Our mission is to create a space of simple comfort and relaxation by the bay that will leave you wishing that you didn't have to. With a friendly atmosphere and staff who strive to accommodate through honesty, integrity, and sincerity, a sense of welcome and belonging prevails in the overall experience.

   Here at the Wessex Inn, we have furnished rooms with or without Kitchenettes and each their own balcony, ample parking and daily housekeeping. There’s free WIFI and HDTV for those who like to stay in, and our Community page for all there is to see and do in the area, if you're a little more adventurous..

   Whether you're thousands of miles from home, running the roads with your sweetheart, or working in the area and just need to recover after a hard days' work, The Wessex provides the escape you desire or require.

     Groups are people too. Family reunion, wedding group, car club, business travel or work crew, The Wessex Inn will rise to the occasion. Things to note...

- Smoking is not permitted anywhere in or around the building within 7 meters according to local Bylaw. However we do have a designated smoking area on the property.

- Check-in time is from 3pm to 10pm. If you think you may be late please call us before 9pm and we're happy to make arrangements for late arrivals. We do not offer any guest services after 9pm.

-Check-out time is 11am.

Cancellaion policies: If for any reason you need to cancel, this must be done 48 hours or more prior to your check in date to avoid cancellation fees of one night plus taxes. All booked nights are subject to cancellation policies.
